I have taken some orchid photos in Coorg. using Dr T Ananda rao's (Conservation of wild orchids of Kodagu in westerb ghats) book i have identified some. If you identify any of these orchids please give botanical name.

Most of the photos were taken near Palace Estate , Kakkabe.
Some photos were taken near Tadiandamol peak

    Good photos with the orchid habitat. I am not sure I can identify any of them :(
    * 2 and one on the left side of 4 - looks like Pholidota pallida
    * 5 and one on right in 4 - Rhynchostylis
    However in 5, just above that there is a bulbophyllum in bloom, i guess. Is it right? Do you have a closer pic of that?
    * in 3, at the center of the pic there seems to be a flower, right?

    when did you go to coorg? recently?

    I will post closer picture of bulbophyllum(?)

    You are right there is flower in 3rd photo :)

    pls change to this,this is the right ID.

    *1) not aquem. its den.ovatum
    *2) Pholidota impricata
    *3) Coelogyne sp. need flower to ID(left side)
    *3) Pholidota impricata (right side)
    *4) v.thwaitesii
    *5) Aer.crispa
    *6) Coelogyne maybe its coel.breviscapa (need flower to confirm)
    *7) Pholidota impricat
